CHARACTERISTICS
Mortar for highly adhesive smoothing, with a low elastic modulus and excellent workability made from natural hydraulic lime and selected inert materials.
Indicated for levelling irregular surfaces, it guarantees a secure hold on cement base surfaces providing an adhesive layer for subsequent lime based finishes.

USES

Specific for finishing prefab elements in cement like Predal slab ceilings.
For civil finishing of columns and beams in reinforced concrete.
As an adhesive layer on cement plaster, for subsequent lime finishing, suitable as substrate for lime brush finishes.
Very suitable for plasters which are very cracked, premixed and traditional.
Where necessary with plaster to improve the effectiveness, use a grid.
To make absorption and granulometry more uniform in the event of touch ups and surfaces made with different materials.
To adjust the absorption of non-uniform surfaces, when removing plastic plasters.
PREPARATION OF THE BOTTOMS

Wash the parts in reinforced concrete and the old plaster with water cleaner at a pressure which is suitable for removing dust, dirt and traces of dismantling additives.
Remove the plastic plasters with special treatments and wash the cleaned surfaces with a water cleaner in order to reduce the porosity of the plaster and remove any traces of remaining solvent.
Before applying dampen the support (based on the weather conditions).
PREPARING THE PASTE
Mix for 3-5 minutes in a cement mixer or mixer by pouring the necessary water and Rasante IMB 30 product until obtaining a paste with a uniform appearance and creamy consistency.

APPLICATIONS

Application for smoothing reinforced concrete elements:
Apply with a stainless steel trowel in an average thickness of 2 mm.
After around 20 minutes (based on the absorption of the bottom and temperature) finish with a sponge float.
Application for smoothing old plaster:
If the base is crumbly and very absorbent apply a coat of CRIL FIX acrylic fixative diluted 1:4, apply with stainless steel trowel in average thickness of 2 mm levelling without float finish.
When it is hard apply a second coat and after around 20 minutes finish with sponge float.
Application to smooth bottoms after removal of plastic plasters:
When preparing the mixture add 2 litres of CRIL FIX acrylic fixative to the mixture water for every sack of Rasante IMB 30.
Apply with a stainless steel trowel in an average thickness of 2 mm levelling without float finish.
When hardened apply a second coat (for later finish with limewash paint) or continue with application of all our products in the Linea Antica following the instructions on the product.
