Protective covering expressly formulated for external protection of:

Liquid product, normally ready-to-use, based on siloxanes and micro-emulsions of organic polymers. The product is particularly suitable for the protection of water-repellent exterior finishes of lime, since, giving a high water-repellent, keeps in time the original coloring avoiding stains and efflorescence.
Main characteristics conferred on the surfaces by the use of SILATOP COAT HYDRO:
• Durable water-repellent effect.
• a good permeability to water vapor, allows the natural transpiration of the support.
• Minimal changes in color of treated surfaces.
• High antiadhesive against smog.
• High resistance to sulfation.
• Absence of stickiness of the cured protective.
• Established 'to UV rays and the acid and alkaline solutions.
APPLICATION
The product should be applied as it is on dry surfaces, clean, non-heated by the sun and no rain or windy days or with excessive humidity. Apply at temperatures between + 5 °C to + 30 °C, after the application is sufficient to protect the surface from direct rainfall for 6-8 hours.
It's recommended brush application always starting from the bottom upwards, avoiding sagging.
Generally it is sufficient a hand well distributed product to obtain an optimum hydrophobization. In the case of coatings or fine lime-based plasters particularly absorbent, it may be advisable to apply a second coat "wet on wet" for better protection. On polished spatulated and very smooth shaves, so poorly absorbent, it is advisable to dilute the product with 50% water to facilitate the absorption, in this case you should apply the product by brush removing immediately the excess with a clean cloth, to avoid that polymerize on the surface.
The quantity of product required to obtain optimum protection can vary from 100 to 400 gr/sq.m., depending on the absorption and particle size of the substrate.

Storage : It is indispensable to keep the product in hermetically sealed cans at temperature between + 5°C and + 30°C.
The product is stable for at least 12 months.
